Glossary
Terms used in MANIFEST and its reports.
- Build
- One audience's version of the docs: unfiltered, or filtered by one DITAVAL file.
- Gate
- The run's verdict. Pass when no topic failed a check and no link is broken.
- Mapping rule
- An approved XSLT template that rewrites one element before conversion.
- Placeholder
- A numbered token that carries a conref, key, condition or ID through conversion.
- Review item
- A source element with no Markdown form and no rule. It goes to a writer.
- Substitution
- A MyST variable that holds a value defined once, as a DITA key does.
