Approve or reject a fix

Approve a proposed rule so every later run uses it without the agent, or reject it with a reason.

The checks decide whether a topic passes. The agent can propose a fix, but it can't change a check result, and a writer approves every rule before it is used again.

  1. Read the rule's description and its XSLT.

Check that it keeps every piece of text and every ID.

  2. Select Approve, or select Reject and say why.

The decision, who made it and when are added to the rule's provenance and to the audit trail.

  3. Optional: From the command line, approve a rule file instead:
manifest rules approve build/agent/proposed/RULE.json --by "Your Name"

An approved rule runs on every later migration. A rejected rule is kept for the record and never runs.
